The plant bougainvillea is named after French naval officer, Louis Antoine de Bougainville (1729- 1811). This particular hybrid is a cross between Bougainvillea glabra and B. peruviana. Its leaves are variegated with green and white with purple tubular flowers.

*Water: Water when soil feels dry to the touch, do not over-water.
*Fertiliser: Keep your plant in top form by feeding it every few weeks with a dilute solution of liquid fertiliser or soild fertiliser over the soil.
*Plant size: approx. 90cm (vary in sizes)
