Gardenia jasminoides, is an evergreen flowering plant of the coffee family Rubiaceae, and also called the gardenia, cape jasmine, cape jessamine, danh-danh, or jasmin. It produces heavily fragrant flowers over a long period of the year. The fragrant flowers are used for scenting tea. They are also sometimes eaten raw as a delicacy, pickled or preserved in honey.

Water: Water when soil feels dry to the touch, do not over-water.

Fertiliser: Keep your plant in top form by feeding it every few weeks with a dilute solution of liquid fertiliser or sprinkling solid fertiliser over the soil.
