Jatropha integerrima is commonly named Peregrina, Rose-flowered Jatropha, Spicy Jatropha, Shanghai Beauty that is a woody shrub or small tree, able to grow up to about 4.5 m tall and with a spread of 2 - 3 m wide. The one-inch-wide red flowers are produced year-round in beautiful clusters held upright above the foliage and helps make Fire-cracker an interesting specimen plant.
