Bonsai is the art of planting a plant in a container with the ultimate aim to create realistic depiction of nature.
This is achieved by restricting the growth of the plant by:
1) restricting roots growth
2) Pruning, Trimming and wiring to size and shape
While doing so, the care and needs of the plant is to be provided. The routine regime of watering, fertilizing and Sun is to be provided at the right time. Fertilizing based on the stage of growth to achieve formation of leaves and blooming of flowers is the finer details to achieve.
