Araucaria cunninghamii also know as hoop pine is found in the dry rainforests of New South Wales and Queensland and in New Guinea. The colour is generally whitish or light-coloured, the grain is straight and the texture is fine. It can grow up to 50 - 70 metres tall. The tree is harvested from the wild for local use as a food and source of materials. It is exploited commercially for its timber, and is also often grown as an ornamental.

Water: Water when soil feels dry to the touch, do not over-water.
Fertiliser: Keep your plant in top form by feeding it every few weeks with a dilute solution of liquid fertiliser or soild fertiliser over the soil.
