Nymphaea 'Nangkwag' is a tropical day-blooming water lily cultivar 

 

  • Flower Shape: Water lily flowers generally have a cup-like or star-like shape with numerous petals.
  • Leaf Characteristics: Water lily leaves (pads) are typically round and flat, with a slit on one side. The leaves of 'Nangkwag' are likely green.
  • Day-Blooming: This cultivar blooms during the day, with the flowers typically closing in the evening.
  • Tropical Water Lily: Tropical water lilies are generally more sensitive to cold temperatures than hardy water lilies.
  • Size: The overall size depends on growing conditions, but tropical water lilies can have a spread of several feet.
