Ficus carica is also known as Fig. The fruit also called the fig. The fig is grown for its edible fruit and it is also grown as an ornamental tree. Figs can be eaten fresh or dried, and used in jam-making. Figs require full sun all day.

Water: Water when soil feels dry to the touch, do not over-water.
Fertiliser: Keep your plant in top form by feeding it every few weeks with a dilute solution of liquid fertiliser or soild fertiliser over the soil.
