Manilkara zapota aka Chiku or Sapodilla is a tropical fruit tree with brown, round or oblong fruits, with a thin skin. The flesh is sweet, soft and reddish-brown. The natural fructose and sucrose content in sapota can give your body a lot of energy. Some people also use chikoos to make jams, jellies and ice creams.
