This Monstera obliqua is a much rarer species than M. deliciosa. It has long ovate leaves - smaller than its cousin - which are not lobed and incised, but entire on the margin and perforated on either side of the midrib, usually ellipsoid - hence the 'window-leaf' name. It is a tropical houseplant with distinctive holes and notches in the leaves.

Sunlight: Semi-Shade, Full Shade

Water: Water when soil feels dry to the touch, do not over-water.

Fertiliser: Keep your plant in top form by feeding it every few weeks with a dilute solution of liquid fertiliser or sprinkling solid fertiliser over the soil.

Monstera Peru (also known as monstera karstenianum) is an unusual monstera species that doesn’t produce the fenestrated leaves usually associated with monsteras. Instead, this small variety has small, rounded, somewhat leathery leaves that are puckered and ridged, similar to some species of peperomia.
