Crassula ovata, commonly known as the Jade Plant, Money Plant, or Friendship Tree, is a popular succulent shrub belonging to the Crassulaceae family. It is native to the Eastern Cape and KwaZulu-Natal provinces of South Africa and Mozambique. It is widely grown as a houseplant and garden ornamental worldwide.
