Hoya lacunosa, also known as Cinnamon Scented Plant, Grooved Wax Flower, is an evergreen epiphytic vine in the Apocynaceae family. It is native to Southeast Asia, including India, China, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, etc., and often grows on trees in lowland and hilly forests, especially along riverbanks. 

  • Light: Prefers bright, indirect sunlight. It can tolerate some direct sunlight but not for prolonged periods.
  • Watering: Allow the soil to dry out between waterings. Overwatering can lead to root rot.
  • Soil: Well-draining soil, such as a mix of potting soil and orchid bark or perlite, is ideal.
  • Temperature: Thrives in warm temperatures between 60°F to 85°F (15°C to 29°C).
  • Humidity: Enjoys higher humidity but adapts well to average indoor conditions.
  • Fertilizer: Use a balanced, diluted fertilizer during the growing season (spring and summer).
  • Plant Size: Approx. 30 to 40cm (vary in sizes)
