Flowers are showy and come in many colors (eg. red, pink, purple), produced in stalkless clusters in leaf axils. Impatiens is the latin word, impatient in references to the explosive release of seeds from the fruit pods.

Fertiliser: Keep your plant in top form by feeding it every few weeks with a dilute solution of liquid fertiliser or sprinkling solid fertiliser over the soil.
