Blooms inside the infructescence, small and inconspicuous.The fruit, which is called anjeer, axillary on normal leafy shoots, solitary, purplish red to yellow when mature, usually pear-shaped.

Fertiliser: Keep your plant in top form by feeding it every few weeks with a dilute solution of liquid fertiliser or soild fertiliser over the soil.
