Kaempferia elegans, commonly known as the silver spot, is a shade-loving ginger that has 6" round leaves with three rows of silver spots arranged across them. It has small purple flowers, with a small white center. The broadly ovate to elliptic leaves are variegated with alternating bands of grey and olive green to bronze. Young leaves have yellowish green and reddish brown bands.

*Water: Water when soil feels dry to the touch, do not over-water.
*Fertiliser: Keep your plant in top form by feeding it every few weeks with a dilute solution of liquid fertiliser or soild fertiliser over the soil.
