Lantana is a genus of about 150 species of perennial flowering plants in the verbena family, Verbenaceae. They are native to tropical regions of the Americas and Africa but exist as an introduced species in numerous areas, especially in the Australian-Pacific region, South and Northeastern part of India. Many varieties have been bred for different flower colours, from whites and cool yellows to vibrant red and orange. These plants are very versatile, and depending on the type, can be used for hedging, hanging baskets, ground cover, and ornamentals.

*Water: Water when soil feels dry to the touch, do not over-water.
*Fertiliser: Keep your plant in top form by feeding it every few weeks with a dilute solution of liquid fertiliser or soild fertiliser over the soil.
